Update Information in the Secure Online Portal

It is time to complete your child’s annual update of the Secure Online Portal. If you enrolled a new student to Little Miami for the upcoming school year (2025-2026), you DO NOT need to update the Portal, as your essential information was submitted at Registration.

What You Can Do Now:

1. Log in and verify your child’s information within the Portal.

2. Contact your child’s building secretary with necessary updates for contact information changes, emergency contacts, living with student status, authorized to pick up status, etc.

Your child’s information in the Secure Online Portal must be updated at the start of every year. Families must update critical student information, including emergency medical and contact information, acknowledgment of the district policies and handbooks, and the computer/internet acceptable use policy. If you have trouble viewing any documents, you can also view them on the school’s website here: https://www.littlemiamischools.com/page/annual-notices

Be sure your current contact information is updated in the Secure Online Portal. You do not need to “sign up” for alerts. You should receive alerts if your contact information is updated in your student’s profile.

Health Reminder

Ohio Immunization Summary for School Attendance:

Immunizations are required unless exempted for medical or religious reasons. Ohio Revised Code, Section 3701.13 and 3313.671, mandates that every child be properly immunized in order to attend school. Exemption forms must be submitted each school year. Ohio State law allows a 14 school day period for you to provide a record of your child's immunizations before being excluded from school. If you need a new exemption form please reach out to the school nurse.

If your student is going into the following grades, please check with your physician for required immunizations: Kindergarten, 7th grade, 12th grade.

If you don't have a doctor or a place to get required immunizations, The Mercy Little Miami Clinic can help.

Fiscal Focus

Per Pupil Spending

According to the most recent Fiscal Year 2024 Cupp Report, Little Miami Local Schools remains one of the most fiscally conservative districts in both Warren County and the state of Ohio. The district spends $13,345 per student—making it the second lowest per pupil spender in Warren County. Statewide, Little Miami falls in the bottom 12.5% of all districts for per pupil expenditures.

By comparison, the state average is $16,310 per student. If Little Miami were to spend the state average per student with 5,600 students in seats the district would spend an additional $16,604,000 per year. Little Miami Among Lowest Per Pupil Spenders in State.
